BETTER PEDESTRIAN ACCESS TO
BUSWAY STATION SOUGHT
SUPPORTS
CITIZEN REQUEST

relocated Wilkinsburg Station on the Martin
Luther
King, Jr. East Busway. According to Mr. Walsh,
a large
staircase and wheelchair ramp not currently in
use, at
the original station site, could provide easy
and more
direct access between the newly relocated
Busway station
and the

from the original inbound platform to the new

platform, Mr. Walsh added.
Mr. Walsh
made these comments, today, at the monthly
meeting of
the Board of Directors of the Port
