JOE NEGRI PRESENTS "JAZZ FOR JUNIORS" AT MUSIC HALL - JANUARY 18

Carnegie, Pa., Jan.8 - Well-known Pittsburgh musician, Joe Negri, will present "Jazz for Juniors" on Sunday Afternoon, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Music Hall of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library, 300 Beechwood Avenue in Carnegie Borough.

This special musical program for children, which is actually open to "juniors" of all ages, is a benefit for the Andrew Carnegie Free Library. It is co-sponsored by the Carnegie Lion's Club and the Historical Society of Carnegie.

The children's ticket stub will give youngsters, attending this performance, the opportunity to go on stage and sing with Joe Negri.

Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the Historical Society of Carnegie, 1 West Mall Plaza in Carnegie Borough or at the Library. Tickets at the door will sell for $11 for adults and $6 for children.

The Andrew Carnegie Free Library opened as the fourth free public library, constructed and endowed by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, on May 1, 1901. In addition to a Library and Music Hall, the cultural complex includes a 140-seat Lecture Hall, Civil War Museum, small public park, and discount bookstore.
